How it works
New Pay = Current Pay × (1 + Raise% ÷ 100) or New Pay = Current Pay + Raise Amount
- Apply the raise to the pay amount in its original period.
- Convert between periods using: yearly = hourly × hours/week × 52; monthly = yearly ÷ 12; weekly = yearly ÷ 52.
- The difference row shows exactly how much more you earn per period.
Worked example
$25.00/hour with a 6% raise: 25 × 1.06 = $26.50/hour. At 40 h/week that is 26.50 × 40 × 52 = $55,120/year, up $3,120 from $52,000.

Multiply your current pay by (1 + raise ÷ 100). A 4% raise on $60,000 is 60,000 × 1.04 = $62,400.
How do I convert an hourly raise to a yearly amount?
Multiply the hourly increase by your weekly hours and by 52. A $1.50/hour raise at 40 hours/week adds 1.50 × 40 × 52 = $3,120 per year.
